Marci Gonzalez

About

Marci Gonzalez Rand is a passionate storyteller with more than two decades of experience as a local and national television broadcaster. She worked most recently as a morning anchor at KCAL News in Los Angeles and before that, as a network news correspondent for ABC News with her reporting airing on Good Morning America, World News Tonight and Nightline. In that role, she traveled extensively, covering some of the most consequential stories in the world including the 2013 papal conclave, the eruption of the Kilauea volcano and the deaths of Fidel Castro and Nelson Mandela.

While Marci loves being on “the big story,” she is most driven by the opportunity to tell stories that highlight the good in the world, which is why she is so thrilled to be part of the Top Story Studios team, leading its operations on the west coast.

Marci is a proud foster and adoptive mom. She and her husband (a fellow television journalist) live in Los Angeles with their three young children and rescue dog.
